Mohammed Amin
RYEN Operations Director
Mohammed Amin is a Rohingya youth and
undergraduate student, born in 2003 in Maung Nu village, Buthidaung Township,
Rakhine State, Myanmar. He is a passionate teacher, dedicated researcher, and
documentarian focused on the ongoing Rohingya genocide. As a local activist,
his work centers on preventing violence against women and advocating for girls’
education within the refugee community.
Currently living in the world’s largest
refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, Mohammed serves as both a humanitarian
worker and an educator, providing quality education to displaced Rohingya
children.
As the Operations Director of the Rohingya
Youth Empowerment Network (RYEN), he plays a vital role in coordinating
programs, managing field activities, and supporting the organization’s mission
to support, educate, and empower Rohingya youth. Through his work with RYEN,
Mohammed Amin remains deeply committed to creating opportunity, growth, and
long-term change for his community.
