Anis Mostafa

Cultural Affairs Director – RYEN

 

Anis Mostafa is a Rohingya young poet and cultural activist from Chin Tha Ma, Phaung Daw Pyin, Buthidaung Township, Arakan State, Myanmar. He currently resides in the world’s largest refugee camp (16) in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

 

Alongside his studies, Anis dedicates himself to cultural preservation, linguistic development, and human rights advocacy. As the Cultural Affairs Director of RYEN, he plays a vital role in guiding initiatives that uplift the heritage, traditions, and identity of the Rohingya people. Through poetry, storytelling, and educational outreach, he works tirelessly to revive and promote the rich cultural history of his community.

 

Anis is deeply committed to the mission and vision of RYEN — striving for sustainable solutions and development through education, youth empowerment, and community support. His contributions directly reflect RYEN’s goal of preserving the Rohingya identity while building a hopeful and resilient future for the next generation.

 

Driven by a powerful dream to build a strong foundation of Rohingya literature that reflects the past, present, and aspirations of his people, Anis actively engages with civil society organizations and cultural movements that raise awareness of Rohingya history and amplify their voices on a global scale.
